Born and raised on the North Side of Chicago and having spent much of her adult life on the South Side, Karen Rivera is a Licensed Real Estate Broker who possesses a deep, lifelong appreciation for the city she calls home. From the incredible diversity of its people to the unique personality of every neighborhood, Karen’s genuine love for Chicago’s vibrant energy translates into a passion for helping others find their perfect place within it. Introduced to the industry as a child through her uncle, she was quickly drawn to the endless opportunities real estate provides. Today, her driving motivation is connecting with people, educating them about these opportunities, and showing them that homeownership can be a very real possibility.
What She Does
At The Stoic Team, Karen expertly manages the entire rental process from the moment a property becomes available until the lease is signed and completed. She bridges the gap between property owners and prospective tenants by handling everything from marketing and inquiries to coordinating showings and managing applications. If a prospective renter isn't approved for their first choice, Karen doesn’t let them start over alone; she proactively helps them explore other available options to find a property that perfectly fits their needs. Her ultimate goal is to create a smooth, transparent, and positive experience for both owners and renters, ensuring successful outcomes all around.

Beyond Real Estate
When she isn’t helping clients navigate the Chicago real estate market, clients might be surprised to learn that Karen loves working on cars! Over the years, she has done a significant amount of mechanic work on her own vehicles and genuinely enjoys getting her hands dirty to figure out how things work. She has a deep love for classic cars, with her absolute favorite being a 1967 Chevy Impala.
